You're Carrying a Loss That Has No Name
Your marriage ended. Your kids left home. You lost the baby. The dream died. Your body changed. The friendship ended. You retired from the career that defined you. Your beloved pet passed.
And when you tried to talk about it, you heard:
"At least you have your health."
"You're still young - you can start over."
"Everything happens for a reason."
"Other people have it worse."
"It's just a pet."
So you stopped talking.
You smile when people ask how you're doing. You say "I'm fine."
You pretend the pain isn't there. But it IS there.
In the middle of the night. In the quiet moments.
In the emptiness no one else can see but you feel every single day.
You are experiencing what we call "invisible grief",
losses that society doesn't acknowledge,
doesn't validate, doesn't give you permission to grieve.
You're not broken. You're not overreacting.
You're grieving something the world doesn't acknowledge.
AFTER 4 SESSIONS, YOU WILL:
✓ Finally have permission to grieve losses that "don't count"
✓ Express pain that has no words through art - no artistic experience required.
✓ Be witnessed by women who finally understand.
✓ Have a proven framework (The Seasons of Healing™) to navigate grief as it cycles through your life.
✓ Take home 8 original art pieces that honor your complete journey.
✓ Know you're not broken - you're becoming.

"I did not expect to feel some
relief with my grief.
I feel some kind of lighter feeling
as the workshop went on."
- A. A.

"Today has allowed me the time
and space to name/identify some aspects of grief that I had
not thought about.
I appreciate the seasonal stages of grief. I also liked physically being able to put all my emotions on canvas through the guided prompts.
I recommend this for everyone!"
- N. W.C.

"I did not know how my heart was grieving so badly until this
workshop was introduced and
I was invited to attend.
It really helps me a lot."
- B. G.

"I have had so many losses.
My heart is lighter, and I
appreciated the prompts for
helping me put my feelings
on the canvas.
This was very helpful.
Thank you."
- D. P.

Why Diana Created BE SEEN
Having worked in the funeral industry for over 30 years, and as a licensed funeral director, Diana witnessed
one painful truth over and over:
Society gives permission to grieve death, and nothing else.
No ceremony for divorce.
No sympathy cards for empty nest.
No memorial service for the dream that died.
No ritual for the pet who was family.
Women would pull her aside at funerals and whisper:
"I wish there was something like this for MY loss."
That's why Diana created BE SEEN.
After walking alongside more than 1,000 families
through death, Diana understands grief
at the deepest level. She knows that grief is
not a problem to solve, it's a sacred journey
that deserves witnessing.
Her own experience with profound loss, beginning at age 9 with the murder of her best friend Michele, taught her that some griefs live in your body for decades
when they have no place to be seen.
Diana specializes in the grief nobody talks about. The losses that don't come with funerals, the pain that doesn't have permission, the transformations that society calls "just life."
Her approach is: Trauma-informed and compassionate.
Grounded in over 30 years of professional expertise.
Rooted in personal understanding of invisible grief.
Built on the belief that EVERY loss deserves to be seen.
When Diana isn't guiding women through their healing journeys, she finds restoration through painting seascapes in oils, the same therapeutic art practice she brings to BE SEEN.
Diana creates sacred container where grief meets art,
where invisible becomes visible,
and where healing begins.

Session 1 - WINTER: Name the Unseen (January 10)
The Season of Honest Recognition
You'll Learn: What invisible grief is, why it hurts so much, why traditional support fails you, and why you're not broken.
You'll Create: Art that gives visual form to grief that's lived silently in your body - making the invisible finally visible.
You'll Gain: Permission to feel what you feel, language to name your experience, understanding that you're in a grief season.
Session 2 - SPRING: Honor with Ritual (January 31)
The Season of Sacred Ceremony
You'll Learn: Why ritual matters for healing and how to create your own sacred practices when there was no funeral.
You'll Create: A visual tribute to what you lost and what truly mattered - your canvas becomes your memorial.
You'll Gain: Tools for meaningful ceremony, release of shame through intentional acknowledgment.
Session 3 - SUMMER: Reclaim Yourself (February 7)
The Season of Authentic Renewal
You'll Learn: How to rediscover who you are now, how grief and joy can coexist, how to rewrite your story with compassion.
You'll Create: Art that shows how different elements coexist on one canvas - just like loss and renewal coexist within you.
You'll Gain: Permission to experience joy without guilt, rediscovery of your authentic self.
Session 4 - AUTUMN: Live the Legacy (February 28)
The Season of Purposeful Integration
You'll Learn: How to carry grief forward with wisdom, what you're taking with you, what matters now.
You'll Create: Art that honors your complete journey and the woman you're becoming.
You'll Gain: A framework for navigating grief as it cycles back, tools to sustain your healing.

YOUR GRIEF DESERVES TO BE SEEN
For too long, you've carried this alone.
You've heard "get over it" and "move on" and "at least..."
You've pretended to be fine when you're not fine.
You've wondered if something is wrong with you for still hurting.
Nothing is wrong with you.
Your grief is real. Your pain matters. And you deserve sacred space where you can finally be witnessed.
The emptiness no one else can see - but you feel every day - deserves to be acknowledged.
Acknowledge it through art. When grief is seen, healing begins.
BE SEEN begins January 10th.

THIS WORKSHOP HONORS ALL TYPES OF LOSS:
death, divorce, pet loss, job loss, empty nest,
ended friendships, lost dreams, health changes, identity shifts.
Every loss matters. Including yours.
"I'm not artistic at all. Can I really do this?"
Yes! This is not about artistic skill - it's about expression. Diana provides gentle, step-by-step guidance. The goal is process, not perfection. Expression, not expertise. Many participants say "I haven't painted since elementary school", and they create beautiful, meaningful work. As one participant shared: "I also liked physically be able to put all my emotions on canvas through the guided prompts."
"What if I miss a session?"
Each session builds on the last through the Seasons of Healing framework. We ask that you commit to all four sessions if possible. However, life happens. Please contact Diana directly at [email protected] to discuss makeup options.
"What materials do I need?"
All painting materials are provided: canvases, acrylic paints, brushes, and supplies. Just bring yourself and an open heart. You'll take home your two original artworks from each session.
"Can I just come to one session instead of all four?"
Yes - individual sessions are available for $160 each. However, the full transformational journey happens across all four seasons. We strongly recommend the complete 4-session series for $497.
"How is this different from therapy?"
BE SEEN is grief education and therapeutic art, not clinical therapy. This is sacred space for expression, connection, and framework-based healing. If you're currently in therapy, BE SEEN can beautifully complement your therapeutic work.
"What if I start crying?"
Then you cry. Tears are welcome here. This is sacred space where all emotions are honored without shame or timeline. You will be held, witnessed, and supported.
"Is this only for women?"
Yes, BE SEEN is designed as sacred space specifically for women. The intimate, women-only container allows for deeper vulnerability and connection.
"Where exactly is the workshop held?"
Temecula United Methodist Church, 42690 Margarita Road, Temecula, CA 92562. The space is beautiful, welcoming, and provides the sacred container needed for this work.
